Sr. Supply Chain Specialist
Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you will primarily be involved in the following tasks:
• Taking care of the storage of goods. You will be responsible for organizing and storing products in the warehouse efficiently
• Identifying and documenting product defects and deviations. You will need to monitor the condition of products and document any discrepancies or defects
• Order picking, packing, and preparing goods for shipment. This includes accurately selecting items from inventory, packing them securely, and preparing them for delivery
• Liaising with carriers. You will act as a point of contact between the warehouse and shipping carriers to coordinate logistics
• Quoting carriers, pricing, and express shipments. You will provide quotes for shipping costs and manage express shipment requests as necessary
• Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy. Maintaining a clean workspace is essential for safety and efficiency
• Checking and replenishing packaging and shipping materials. You will regularly assess stock levels of packaging materials and reorder as needed.
• Conducting daily, weekly, and quarterly cycle counts of all products. Regular inventory counts will help ensure accuracy in stock levels
• Inventory reconciliation. You will verify inventory records and resolve any discrepancies.
• Cubing all products. Accurately measuring the dimensions of products for shipping and storage optimization is part of your role
• Labeling all products. You will ensure that all items are correctly labeled for identification and tracking
• Replenishing stock as needed on a daily basis. This involves monitoring stock levels and restocking shelves to meet demand
• Internal communication via Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and phone. Effective communication with team members and other departments is crucial

Qualification and Training Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position. Relevant experience in logistics or warehouse operations is preferred
• Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch and Spanish are a plus. Proficiency in multiple languages will enhance communication with diverse teams
• Proficient in MS-Office applications. Familiarity with MS Excel, MS Word, MS Teams and MS SharePoint is required
• Proficient in WMS applications. We use the WMS of our 3PL partner ShipHero. This or experience with other WMS software is preferred
• Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs. repeatedly. Physical stamina is necessary for this role
• High school diploma or equivalent. A foundational level of education is required
• Post-secondary education or certifications in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management is an asset. Additional education will be advantageous in this position
• Ability to bend, kneel, twist, stoop, etc. Physical flexibility is important for various tasks
• Must be certified to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks; familiarity with safe handling procedures is essential. Safety training and certification are mandatory
• Valid driver's license and Social Insurance Number. These are necessary for employment
